SLISM is a non-profit-making organization that has devoted its efforts & resources to uplift the ethical and moral values in the hearts of students and youth of Sri Lanka and to enhance their knowledge and skills. From its inception in 1980 SLISM has passed many milestones and successfully completed 30 years. SRI LANKA ISLAMIC STUDENTS’ MOVEMENT was established in the early of 1980. Vision and Ideology SLISM Built on the foundation (لا إله إلا الله محمد رسول الله) “There is no Ilah but Allah, and Muhammed (PBUH) is His messenger”. It is at obtaining the Allah's satisfaction and Paradise in the next world by establishing Allah's Deen(Iqamathu Deen) in this world.

High Information Technology Education and Social Development Organization –(HITESDO) is an Non-Profitable Non –Government Organization. It has been functioning since 2004 with the Objectives of empowerment of youths, Capacity Building, Information Technology & English Education, Community Development & Peace Building activities, etc. It contains a team of talented and well experienced youths in it, such as graduates, professionals in information technology and humanitarian work and Education. HITESDO registered under Ministry of cultural Affairs and sports - North East Province in 2005 (Regd No NEP/ME/CA/TR/06/05) & registered in the divisional secretariat division of Town & Gravets Trincomalee Regd no DS/TG/SS/VSO/77. HITESDO offer its service to the rural community to develop IT specially in the rural and remote areas . We conduct computer and English trainings to improve the knowledge and skills of youths and school leavers. Further we do Capacity building and job oriented trainings such as beauty culture, carpentry, food processing and career guidance trainings for school levers and youths. We organise cultural programme on the basics of “clarity is Strength” in the rural areas. Elders and students will be honoured in this programme for their achievements. We have also developed a web based database about Trincomalee District for the benefit of general public and International communities with support of ICTA Sri Lanka. www.trinconet.info. A special grant received from US Embassy of Colombo through Youth Empowerment Grant programme 2012 to enhance the skill on IT and English for the selected 100 youths in Trincomalee. We have selected 50 youths from Kattaparichchan , Mutur where no facilities available and the community affected by war and tsunami. HITESDO sri Lanka was taken necessary steps to open a training centre in Kattaiparichan and train 50 youths. We have completed trainings for 100 youths in IT and English with support of US embassy, Colombo. It was 4 month course. We are planning to extend the programmes to others areas with support of US Embassy or any other donors/ funding agencies. “ICT Education for Social Change “
