Dynacom Engineering (Private) Limited is a Board of Investment approved company operating under the IWS Holdings Group. At inception in 1990, the company hails as the first ever operator of its kind in South Asia and it remains the exclusive public Trunked two way radio communication service provider in Sri Lanka.
Coverage expansion plans to main cities in the island, began with the second Trunked radio communication system established in Katunayake (2004), which comprehensively covers the International Airport area and the adjacent export processing zone. The six channel system has a coverage radius of greater than 50 km from the city of Katunayake.
The Company also operates a highly successful short range communication service under the “Dynatalk” brand which provides a communication service with a radius slightly above 1 km. This versatile radio communication service can be used in any part of the island and is the ideal choice for economical short range communications.
All communication infrastructure and subscriber units used by the company are manufactured by the world leader in radio communication technology “Motorola”. Dynacom Engineering also operates a fully equipped workshop certified by Motorola with qualified engineers and technical officers.
