One of our founders was an active, most sought after tour guide for a reputed tour company, who has seen every nook and corner of Sri Lanka. By being in the field with travellers, he captured reactions, emotions, needs and wants and behavioural patterns from elders to budding children. During the time period of the scheduled tour, he used these observations in a positive light to let the tourists experience a relaxed, enjoyable holiday tours in Sri Lanka.
Accumulation of such experiences and strong passion for wildlife made the initiators sought a way to unleash the fire in them, the fire of sharing such natural wonders with the fellow human beings. Thus they directed the bursting energy, in creating "Helikro Holidays", where leisure travellers are able to experience the core essence of Sri Lankan wilderness, in abundance.
