Christ Church Galkissa (Dehiwela)
The Priests , Wardens and the Congregation of the Christ Church alias Church of the Open Door extend a warm welcome to the visitors. The congregation that worships at CCG is unique for its diversity. People from all walks of life, speaking the different languages spoken in Sri Lanka worship at CCG at different times every Sunday. The morning 6.00 Eucharist is said in English. This is followed by Traditional Sung Eucharist services in English Tamil and Sinhala respectively. The evening Eucharist in English is in the modern praise and worship style. The Liturgy we use is the 2010 revised edition.
There is another community that gains access to this church throughout the day due to the church being open and due to its close proximity to the Galle Road. They are those who find solace and tranquility in this sanctuary found in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the Dehiwela Junction.
