It is also with much pleasure that we announce that we have been appointed as the Official Publishers for Sri Lanka Tourism to publish the Travel Agents and National Tour Guide Lecturers Guide book and the Tourist Service Providers Guide book. We further emphasize that travel also comes with hidden dangers, nothing will ever look the same again and you have to traverse your chosen path with extra care, do not stick to any predictions. Be ready with all what you have learnt by travel hints. Over the past century, travel has evolved from adventure travel to a multimillion-dollar industry around the globe. This in itself demonstrates the importance of why people choose traveling. People need to relax and they choose traveling more than any other alternative. The linear road maps included in this 9th edition are the same of last edition as most of the roads are under construction and the kilometer posts are not placed properly. We hope that the Road Development Authority will accomplish its goal of fully developing all roads within a year so that we could update it in our 10th edition. We have been traveling across the country to note all firsthand information so that our readers will never feel alone when they travel with this guide book.
