Hideaway Villas has been welcoming guests to enjoy its unique blend of hospitality for over thirty years. It all started in 1979 when the Tissera family built the main villa on the idyllic east coast of Sri Lanka at Arugam Bay.
Soon enough, friends thought it was too good to keep a secret and persuaded the Tisseras to take guests.
Under Sharon’s guidance, the family philosophy lives on through Hideaway Villas’ entire operation. The relaxed and homely atmosphere has a distinct panache and guests receive sensitive and personalised attention.
