Introduction
( HISTORY OF SYLAN SPORTS CLUB )
Sylan Sports Club Mawanella,is a growing Club in the Kegalle Division. However, its sport activities are not up to the national standard. As such Hard Ball Cricket is very new to the City.In 2010 We friends Get together and decided to form a Hard ball cricket club,which is very new to our area and its also a goal of us from the childhood days,then we got the support and permission to collect money for to build up our club,then continually for three months,we collected money,for this purpose our parent's and Villager's helped us,Finally ALHAMDULILLAH! we was able to collect the sufficient money we wanted.Then we spent a huge amount of money to buy the necessary things for our Hard ball Cricket club.Then we requested Masjidh Ul Jennah,through a letter to inform after jummah to the people about the formation of our club and published our sincere thanks to them.
Then, we played many practice matches with experienced,registered team's in the kegalle Division,to get matured to the hard ball cricket game,because it's very new to us.Then we studied how to play the game, and even some player got severe injured due to hard practice.
Then we conducted our annual meeting in 2012,we renewed the club committee and formed a constitution,then committee members took steps to register in the cricket association with the high competition to get registered,finally we got succeeded,Thanks to almighty ALLAH.
In Shaa allah, we hope to play in the division matches this year.
