Kandy Sports Club (better known as Kandy SC) is a rugby union team based in Kandy, Sri Lanka that plays in the Caltex League, of which they are the current champions. The club has been the most successful Sri Lankan club in the Caltex League, winning ? titles, as well as the Caltex Clifford Cup Knockout Tournament, winning 16 titles in 18 years, which is the most number of win by any club since it was inaugurated in 1950. Kandy SC never lost a final since 1995, where on one occasion they did not take part while there was no tournament in another instance.[2] By 2009 Kandy SC has won the league title for a record nine consecutive years.
